Every burrito on our menu, and how to order it

We make nine burritos, from $7.50 to $12.50. Here's what goes into each one, what it costs, and the three choices you make when you order: beans, heat and extras.

The fillings and the prices

The meat, vegetable, fish and shrimp burritos are made with rice, beans and our own fresh salsa. The two bean burritos are the simple ones, and the least expensive: beans and rice, or beans and cheese with no rice. Five burritos, from ground beef to vegetable, are $11.25 each, and fish and shrimp are $12.50.

If you haven't had one, the Gyros (Lamb) burrito puts lamb gyros in with the rice, beans and salsa, and the steak burrito is carne asada.

Three choices to make

The best burrito is the one made the way you like it, so every burrito on our menu asks you the same three things.

First, beans: black or pinto. It's the one choice you can't skip, so decide before you call. After that, tell us how spicy you want it: non-spicy, mild or spicy. Then decide on extras:

On the fish burrito there's one more choice: fried cod or salmon. If you want something left out, tell us when you call.

Sour cream, cheese and guacamole are also on our sides menu at the same prices, if you'd rather have them on the side.

Ordering one by phone

Say it in the order the choices come: the burrito, the beans, the heat, then any extras. For example, “A chicken burrito, pinto beans, mild, with guacamole.” That one comes to $13.55 before tax: $11.25 for the burrito and $2.30 for the guacamole.

Ordering several? Give us one burrito at a time, with its beans, heat and extras, so nothing gets mixed up.

You can also put the whole order together on our menu first. It adds up the subtotal as you go, and then you call it in, since online ordering isn't available yet.

Burritos without meat

Three burritos on our menu are meatless: Beans and Rice ($7.50), Beans and Cheese ($7.76) and Vegetable ($11.25). Our Nachos (Meatless), $11.25, are made with cheese, sour cream, guacamole, beans and salsa. If you have a specific dietary need, ask us about the ingredients when you call.

The burrito section of our menu also has tacos, a quesadilla and two kinds of nachos.

For the soft tacos, pick ground beef, chicken, lamb or steak, and non-spicy, mild or spicy salsa. The quesadilla comes with your choice of salsa, and you can have ground beef, chicken, lamb or steak in it. Both nachos come with your choice of black or pinto beans, and you can leave off the cheese, sour cream or guacamole.

We're at 2101 Shattuck Ave, a short walk from Downtown Berkeley BART, open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Call (510) 486-8027 and tell us your burrito, your beans, your heat and your extras. You can pick it up, eat it at one of our tables, or have it delivered by a third-party courier.
