Our B.B.Q. chicken: quarter, half or whole

It's right there on our sign: Burritos • Burgers • B.B.Q. Chicken & More. Here's how our B.B.Q. chicken is sold, what comes with it, and the other chicken dishes on our menu.

Three sizes, two sides each

You can order a quarter, a half or a whole chicken, and every size comes with two sides that you pick from corn, salad, rice or fries. A quarter is $13.98, a half is $18.99 and a whole chicken is $28.99. The two sides are yours to mix: rice and salad, fries and corn, or any other pair from the four.

When you call, tell us the size and your two sides, for example a half chicken with rice and corn. That's all we need to get your order going.

Going from a quarter to a half adds $5.01, and going from a half to a whole adds $10.00.

Choosing a size for your table

We won't guess how hungry your group is, but here's what helps when you're deciding. Every size comes with two sides, from the quarter to the whole chicken, so if you're sharing a whole chicken you may want a few more. Extra sides are $4.99 each:

For example, a whole chicken with its two sides plus two extra sides comes to $38.97 before tax.

On the B.B.Q. and grilled chicken sandwiches, you can ask us to leave off the lettuce, tomato, onion or mayonnaise. The Chicken Kebob Plate comes with rice, salad and pita, and the Chicken Filet plate comes with two sides. Both plates, and the kebob salad, come with your choice of ranch, Italian or oil and vinegar dressing.

Chicken is also one of the meat choices for our Soft Tacos ($9.98) and Super Nachos ($13.98), and the chicken burrito lets you pick black or pinto beans and non-spicy, mild or spicy, like every burrito on the menu.

Chicken shows up at breakfast too: one of the specialty omelette fillings is chicken sausage and cheese, for $17.25.

Chicken for dinner

Our sign says Breakfast · Lunch & Dinner, but we close at 4:45 PM. If you want a whole chicken for dinner at home, call in the afternoon and pick it up before we close, or have it delivered by a third-party courier.

Feeding a group or an office

Our sign says Catering & Take Out. If you're ordering for a group, call us at (510) 486-8027 and we'll talk it through with you.

For an office lunch where everyone wants their own plate, dishes like the chicken burrito ($11.25) or the Chicken Kebob Plate ($17.25) give each person their own order.

Where, when and how to order

We're at 2101 Shattuck Ave, a short walk from Downtown Berkeley BART, open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Order by phone for pickup, eat at one of our tables, or have it delivered by a third-party courier.
